My name is Richard Matthews and aside from my faith and my family I have two main passions: marketing and technology. Ask my wife or any of my close friends and they’ll tell you that I just can’t stop talking about one or the other of these two subjects… and often I’m jabbering about both at the same time. I’ve now spent more than half of my life studying the fascinating subject of marketing and the psychology behind it. It started with a book my dad gave me when I was 12 and has grown to be a huge part of my life. Over the past several years, the most fascinating aspect of studying marketing has been how technology is rapidly and drastically changing how marketing is done and how it’s received by potential customers. Technology, especially the internet, is changing our world so fast that much of what worked for business owners to attract new business just a few short years ago either doesn’t work very well anymore, doesn’t work at all anymore, or, in some cases, doesn’t even exist anymore.
